Water-cooled condensing unit is a type of refrigeration system that uses water as a medium for removing heat from the refrigerant. In this setup, the condenser coils are cooled by circulating water, which absorbs the heat from the refrigerant and carries it away. Since water is a more efficient heat transfer medium than air, it allows the system to operate at lower temperatures and reduces the workload of compressor, which in turn results in lower energy consumption and operating costs in the long run. Compared to air-cooled unit , water-cooled system has a typically longer service life if maintained appropriately. Water-cooled systems are less dependent on fluctuations of ambient air temperature, so it is more suitable for installations of indoor or enclosed spaces where air circulation may be limited and precise temperature control is essential to product quality and process efficiency.
